The Racó

Alicante's biggest party has a new corner: ours, facing the sea.

Five Bonfire nights right on La Explanada de España, for over‑25s. Each night, a different theme. Music, drinks and the best crowd in town.

A quick guide if you're visiting

What to do during Alicante's
Bonfires 2026

If you're travelling to Alicante for the San Juan Bonfires (Hogueras), you're arriving for the city's biggest street party. From 20 to 24 June, Alicante fills up with midday mascletàs (deafening firecracker shows), giant satirical monuments in every neighbourhood and, on the night of the 24th, the Cremà, when everything is set on fire and summer truly begins. It's a festival of International Tourist Interest, so expect long days and nights that don't end.

After the mascletà and a walk past the bonfires, everyone asks the same thing: where do you go out? Our racó sits right on La Explanada de España, the palm-lined marble promenade by the sea, a short walk from Luceros and the Mercado. Here's your plan sorted for all five days: five themed party nights (9:30pm to 4:30am, a 25+ crowd), a big daytime party on Saturday and the Spain national-team match screened on Sunday.

You don't need to know Alicante to get it right. If you only have one night, come to the one that matches your dates; if you're staying the whole weekend, do them all. Night entry is by wristband at the box office, no fuss, and the atmosphere is on all of us. By the locals, for the festival.

The main days of Alicante's Bonfires 2026 run from 20 to 24 June, with midday mascletàs and the Cremà on the night of the 24th, which closes the festival. Our racó opens on all five of those nights at La Explanada de España, plus the Saturday 20 daytime party and the Sunday 21 match.

A racó is a Bonfires party space with a bar, music and atmosphere, where people go out at night during San Juan. The Racó Mediterrani is our racó right on La Explanada de España, by the sea, with a carefully curated 25+ atmosphere.

At the Racó Mediterrani, on La Explanada. On Sunday the 21st we screen it on a big screen in the afternoon, with free entry and a full bar, so you can watch it with a beer in hand and no restrictions.

Always buy through official channels. Entry to the Racó Mediterrani nights is by wristband bought at the venue's box office each night; the Saturday 20 daytime party is sold only online on our official FourVenues page. If someone offers you tickets through any other channel, be wary.

Getting here

La Explanada
de España

Paseo de la Explanada de España, Alicante. The city's seafront heart, between palm trees and the marble wave mosaic.

If you're visiting, note that during the Bonfires the centre gets busy and many streets close: the easiest way around is on foot or by TRAM — forget the car at night. From the station, the TRAM and bus drop you at Luceros or Mercado, a short walk from the venue, and there's a taxi rank nearby. If you're staying near Postiguet beach, the Central Market or the old town, you're just minutes from the party.
